What we, as Episcopalians Believe
The Episcopal Church is a wonderful place to belong. We understand God to be a God of love, nurture and care. Below you will find a link to our "Outline of Faith" which will give you an insight as to what we believe as followers of Christ. If you click on the link "What We Believe" from the Episcopal Church' it will take you to a page where you can click on the link that will answer your questions. At St. James we believe God calls us to be inclusive of all, as modeled by Jesus in the Scriptures. We believe Jesus Commanded us to love and Commissioned us to serve
Is God nudging you to find a community of faith in which to belong? Maybe you are just curious about us Episcopalians. That's ok, we invite your questions. Here are the answers to a few that have already been asked:  Yes, we are Christian, we do believe Jesus Christ is the Son of God and we are very much a Bible believing church; in fact we read more Scripture during our worship services than many denominations (4 readings every Sunday) and our worship service is filled with Biblical verses throughout. We believe God continues to be active in creation through God's people. Therefore we are active Christians, responding to God's call to serve.
